Expands to Verona


Total Athlete Performance (TAP) is very excited and honored to open up our new location inside of the Verona Ice Rink. TAP is a performance training facility designed for athletes and committed individuals looking to maximize their full potential in sport and in life. The coaches of TAP have experience training athletes from ages 8 through the professional level. Every strength coach at TAP is dedicated to the research and development of our athletes simply because of our desire to help them mature and excel in their sport(s).


Team Training

We want to offer each Verona Wildcat Youth Hockey team the opportunity of having team off-ice sessions during the upcoming 2017-18 season. During these sessions, teams would work on off-ice fundamentals that directly translate to on-ice play, while combating the wear and tear that the hockey season brings. Each session would be 30-45 minutes based on scheduling and would be ran by a TAP strength and conditioning coach. We want to offer this option first to all Verona Youth teams as the season is approaching and teams are forming. Semi-Private Training

Given the space, format, and frequency of team training, it is challenging to meet the needs of each individual player. Semi-private training includes a 6:1 athlete:coach ratio in a small group atmosphere. Each athlete receives a custom-tailored training program designed to their specific needs and goals of their sport and time of season. Athletes of any experience level are able to work at an intensity that is comfortable for themselves.


TAP & Verona - What to Expect

The mission of Total Athlete Performance becoming a part of the Verona community, is to design and implement principles and practices of the most modern and up-to-date sciences in the Strength and Conditioning field. Our goal is to create and maintain a positive working environment for athletes and to design and implement appropriate workouts that consist of mobility and flexibility, power and speed training, strength training, and conditioning, giving each athlete the tools to build on their strengths and improve on their weaknesses. The result is a stronger, more injury-resistant athlete capable of withstanding the rigors of their sport(s)/season(s).
