There are several important Board positions slated to be filled at this meeting, including Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary and all Age Level Director positions.  Descriptions of these open positions are outlined below.

Voting Process:  there is no official nominating process for these positions.  It is a simple process of informing the Association secretary of your interest to run for a position either prior to the meeting via email, or at the meeting.  Voting members in attendance can nominate someone else for a position, or may also self-nominate.  Nominations are taken and then a vote is called once all nominations are voiced. In the event of multiple nominations, paper ballots are handed out; votes are cast, and then collected by the Association secretary. Votes are counted and the winner is announced.

Vice President (2 year term) – The Vice President shall perform all the duties of the President in the event of his/her absence or disability, and such other duties as the president shall prescribe. Unless otherwise provided by the bylaws or the Board of Directors, he or she shall sign all checks, drafts and vouchers by or through which the moneys of the association are disbursed.
