Use this page as a resource throughout the season to assist you with your coaching responsibilities. The Coaches Corner contains practice plan templates, helpful web links, registration information, concussion training forms, and contact information for the Director of Hockey and Coaches Committee.

Verona Wildcat Coaching Application and Handbook
Interested in coaching with the Verona Wildcats this coming season? Please review the Wildcat Coaches Handbook. Then, complete the linked application below and submit it through the online portal to the Coaches Committee on or before September 6th for consideration. Please contact doh@veronayouthhockey.com if you have any questions.

Items you'll need to input in your registration:
- Your USA Hockey number
- Upload your SafeSport certificate
- Completion of background screening (upload receipt of payment)
- CEP Number
- Review of Concussion Information
- Review of Coaches Code of Conduct
- Review of Sudden Cardiac Arrest Information
Coaching requirements for the 2023-2024 Season
Register with USA Hockey (Deadline 9/6/2023)
Complete the required background screening (Deadline 9/6/2023)
Complete the required SafeSport training (Deadline 9/6/2023)
Complete the appropriate Age-Specific Training Module (Deadline 9/6/2023)
Complete Proper Clinic Level (Deadline 12/31/2023)
Read, sign, and turn in Coaches Application, Coaches Code of Conduct, WAHA concussion protocol, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest protocol
