SWE Squirt B Team Takes 1st At The "2012 Shawano Invitational"!!
Congratulations to the SWE Squirt B Team for taking 1st at the "2012 Shawano Invitational" this weekend!!
This weekend the SWE Squirt B Team brought home another 1st place trophy home to Verona. The teams at the 2012 Shawano Invitational were very equally skilled, and the competition in the games showed with a handful of tied games going into overtime and even shootouts to determine the victor.
The SWE Squirt B team played three very good competitive games and won all three. The teams played and scores were:
Lakeland - Gold Squirt B 4-2
Chippewa Falls Squirt B 3-2
Shawano Squirt B 3-2
This is the second tournament this January that our SWE Squirt B team has brought home a tournament championship. Congratulations to the skaters and the coaches (and yes, also the parents) who have worked hard this year to build such a great team.
